Jesus is the Son of God, a man who left his throne in heaven to live among us here on Earth. He lived on Earth some two thousand years ago, entirely man and entirely God.

Jesus lived a sinless, perfect life and came with a purpose – to offer himself as a sacrifice. Our sin separates us from God so Jesus died on a cross taking the weight of the world’s sins upon himself. That way the punishment for sin could be satisfied – once and for all. It is now because of that cross that we can have relationship with God! Three days after his death, Jesus was resurrected, eternally conquering the power of death and raising us up with himself. When Jesus suffered the punishment for our sins a perfect exchange was made. ‘And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless and restored.’ (Colossians 1:22 TPT)

God sent his son so that we may have abundant and everlasting life. What does that look like for us here and now? It looks like The Greatest Love To Ever Exist wants to be in a relationship with you. Jesus loves you. He is the one in which hope is found; he is our redemption. 

Jesus is God with us, Emmanuel. He is waiting for us to turn to him so he can wash away our sin and we can be made new. Our God, The Creator of the Mountains, Maker of the Seas, this is His son – he is kind, gracious, loving in nature and the best friend you could ever have. This is Jesus!
